May 2, 2008 - Well, it's been a big year so far, in 2008. The animal totem dictionary is going very well, with over 75 individual animal totem / guide essays. On the website in general, there are now over 130 individual articles, representing some 500 or so pages of single-spaced writing in Word. Phew!

I finance this website myself, including hosting costs, which these days is some feat as I am on a disability pension. It has been recommended to me in recent times from users of this website, that I provide people the opportunity to say thank you in the form of donations if they wish. I want this site to remain free, but recognise that some may want to help keep this website and resource alive. Because of this, I have chosen to add a donate button on some of the more popular pages, that connects to my Paypal account. If all goes well, I will provide links accounting for where your proceeds go later in the year.

As always, please take the time to check out my Spiritual Artwork. I spend as much time drawing totem animals as I do writing about them. Almost all of my totem animal pictures are now available in high-quality, affordable print format.

Within this site you will find a constantly growing resource of articles on shamanism, animism and my animal totem dictionary. Because of my own grounding in Russian shamanism, and because of my interest in Australian and other forms of indigenous animism, it is fair to say that many of these writings are quite eclectic. I aim to be as respectful as possible, but you can't please everyone all of the time. You can choose to navigate through the buttons along the left hand margin, or alternative you can view the complete site map from the link above.
